Post by Reverend Hedgash »

This car probably could only run on the salt...

Bit of lunacy:

Who said Ed Roth was dead? He's alive although not well (mentally) and living in Hickory, North Carolina.

I saw the owner lived in North Carolina and that explained a lot!!!!

With the engine exposed to both cabins you'd never get cold! Maybe someone from Victoria should buy it. Can't you just imagine trying to convince your local vehicle inspector that what he was looking at was actually a 1968 Cadillac? I love the lunacy of the car but I'm going to predict that it won't make the reserve any time soon.

how much?!

The market has spoken yet again. It took 34 bids for the thing to reach less than $9k and not meet the seller's reserve. Another dreamer who can't understand why his fabulous one-off collector vehicle is still sitting in the barn. Ironically, if he chose to hire it out for special occasions like taking your girl to the senior prom or just taking people on joy rides he'd make more money and still get to keep the car.

Cheers
Dave :D
