Carol had a phone call from Allen Shepard from Perth today, they run the E type Jag at the salt and they are in a pickle, they damaged one of the tyres on the E type and have had a new one ordered for many months but now find it won’t be delivered until after Speedweek.
They are appealing for anyone out there that may know where they can get one similar, the tyres that they have ordered are “Goodyear Eagle Front Runners” 25.0 x 4.5 x 15 inch.

How fast is the E-type? If it runs less than 200mph it is allowed to run Z-rated road tyres. A whole set of them would be about the same price as one LSR tyre. That would sure beat missing out on Speedweek if they can't find an LSR tyre.

Cheers

What pattern are they?

We have Greg Watters 25's on our 4x15 ford pattern fronts, at a pinch we could lend them, be a case of carryting our transport wheels around and swapping them. We also have our 26inch M/T frontrunners off rims....they can be had cheap, we cant use 'em anymore since we ran over 200.

My number is on the front page under Special Construction rep.

Cheers

James
