need a 12000 rpm tacho that will work with a schnitz pro 2 and /or dyna 4000 pro tried two motorcycle tacho's with no luck :cry:

Gary,

Tach will work with resister in line. Read out will be double the rpm. So if you are not using a digital type tach, 4K rpm will be 8k rpm.

There is also a selection for 2 pulses per crank rev, or 1 pulse per crank rev in the setup menu... Did you try that?

Thanks Jon , I have tried all of that ,even went with an aftermarket jobbie , but this has same issues , not sure of the problem yet , but I think its all to do with buying the cheapest crap I could get :?
