he did
I think he did say something...he was being bombarded with sms's and I think he said " this shouldn't be happening to me,I'm fat , forty and I've got a fu***d leg" ...
it's just that it didn't have ANYTHING to do with the steering....... sort of like what we were doing.
So, is this the new Hot202 thread or what?......didn't someone start this to ask questions about Belly tanks?

Clearly these guys have way too much recreational time on their hands
Besides the mindless dribble and all that; I have come to the morbid realization that no one likes me (or ever did for that matter ) and I still haven't got my newsletter
So why should anyone get any helpful advice from this forum anyway
Gordon D. where are you when your country needs you

Did we ever get to an answer for flat bottom verses round bottom?

For aero purposes( as opposed to porpoises which are for water) the is no question , a round bottom is better.BUT, that is not taking into account a lot of other factors........
Just one I'll mention is "hiding things".....if you can work out a way of having angled axles so you can hide steering and diff in the body then you can make use of a round bottom by getting it high enough off the ground ......it's an equation with lots of factors

We Regress
So Scott
Getting back to a point, but not the point
We (I) found that a VW steering box works well in the front of a belly tank,
mainly beacuse the early torsion bar mounted ones clamp onto a tube and they are small
which reminds me. one more thing to add onto the list
