got it from grumm's photobucket

It is indeed Stevie Barnett, lives in Lancefield, wheeled that fairing himself, some of it in 2mm, it could take a glancing blow from a 20mm canon. He's been busy racing outfits and growing his moustache. He's a motivated bloke and nice with it....

Hope that helps, he's contactable if that's necessary........

Hey GOS
Sponsored ??? By Me.
I have had some help in the past-- mainly road racing But I have a machine shop at work with unlimeted access.
3 of us took bikes to the states this year. It is a bit expensive but as they say--- You can't put a price on a good time--
and I had a good time.
I am going t be at Heathcote for the 3-4 December. Do you have a date for Broardford? I would like to see the bike and meet you
I'll have my 125 with me.

I have never worked off a barometer. Start rich and then lean it off.
EGT seems a good way to go
When I ran the honda I used standard jetting-- usually a safe setting from the factory-- It was slightly lean. There was some detination marks.
For next year I will run it on a dyno and go a little richer to start.
I stuffed up at Bonneville by not going back to a richer mixture when I took out the engine with a suss ignition

so ive been pretty busy, the build is done, aswell as a rough carb tune, the engine is running well now with responsiveness and good idling, which is surprising as i havent even changed the stock jetting from the mikuni tmx40 carb which was meant for a cr250r.

i will put a chain on it this weekend and see how it handles going around the block in the next few days.
