Dry cell betteries in drivers compartment

Post by JonB »

Hi

My son has been using A123 dry cell batteries in his road bike for a while.

I'm going to use a couple in my project, space is a bit tight and I'm looking at mounting them in the drivers compartment.

Obviously they have to be mounted securely & insulated.

They are dry cells and don't gas out, do they need to be in a gastight box for scrutineering?

Thanks
Jon
