Hi

Had a look on the www last night about the helmet Dave is planning on using.
It is a Shoei TZ-R, it is sold overseas as a Snell approved helmet but stickered as AS/NZS1698 when bought locally.

Is it ok to use for a sit on bike or not?

Thanks
Jon

Look inside the helmet , probably ender the lining and there should be a SNELL sticker.
Sometimes they are hard to see in poor light.
I have helmets with SNELL stickers -- '95, '00, ,05. all are perfect but unly the ,05 is legal-- I think helmets have a 10 year life at SCTA.
. 2010 stickers are available. Check the sticker if the helmet is on special.
