tyre test

Gazza ,im waiting on a report from Hank ,he had a couple of brands of DOT tyres high speed tested (full tread and shaved) all performed well from the small amount of info I have so far , all survived 300+ mph ,no failures and very little growth ,Ill post here when I get further info .
still working on proposals for bike rule changes and when im ready I want to run them past you and some other blokes for comment .
off topic DON"T try to make a racer out of an obscure short run motor ,unless you like banging your head against a brick wall

Thanks Gary for following this up. If my memory serves me correctly Hank Booth ran the tyres with no load either vertical or tangential. ie a simple spin test to generate radial loads.

look forward to hearing an update....... cracking 250mph NOT ME SIR!!!!
