Mild Steel vs Chrome Moly
My apologies if this has been asked prior but whats the advantage with going mild steel over Chrome moly? Im hoping to build a cage that is ANDRA and DLRA compliant and there is divergence in the rules here. Thanks.

Moly is stronger for the same weight ...or....lighter for the same strength.
There have been many discussions about this on landracing.com , for a dual purpose car you'll have to make the decision yourself but if it's for the salt only the choice is simple , mild..... or to quote John Lynch .." I wish I'd used hollow bar , the heavier the better"...
