Tyre Choices

Post by Antsv8 »

Hi all,

I'm trying to work out what rear tyre I should be using.

I'll be running a 1000cc Production sports bike.

From the advice I have received so far it runs from Hard slick to Touring tire.

The options so far.

Bridgestone BT-023 Sports touring Compound Hard
Bridgestone BT-003 Racing street CompoundMedium

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Compound Medium
Michelin Pilot Sport HPX Compound Medium

Im just a bit confused.....

All advice or what you are running would be fantastic!

See you in 18 days.

The pilot power or pilot sport or anything similar would be a good choice , main thing is the right speed rating,
your not likely to be chunking tires on a proddy bike but keeping away from the super soft stuff will further reduce the chance of that happening

Thanks for that gents,

I'm thinking the pilot power, It's ZR rated so meets the rule book.

Ill take a spare just in case a chew one out.
