Billet CNC Turbo Exhaust Housing

A few dyno pressure measurements and some engine simulation determined that a different sized turbine housing was drastically required. The factory has no turbine housing A/R options available for this particular turbo so I had no choice but to make my own.

I considered 3D printing lost plastic casting but in the end due to cost and time restraints decided on welding two machined billets together. Very pleased with the result and performance.

Very nice :D ,
getting too much back pressure on the old one ?

Yes back pressure was a bottleneck with the original, deciding how much to increase the A/R was the challenge. Think I got it almost spot on, boost threshold is damm close to what my spreadsheet predicted. The motor is much 'happier' now, boost pressure is higher than exhaust pressure.
