I’m just wondering what engine class a 12 a rotary engine would fit in. The engine measures 1.2 litres (1146cc)but some organisations note it as a bigger capacity. Has there been a ruling from the DLRA ?

Thanks. Jason

formula for rotary engines according to the rule book is
ED= SV X 3
ED= equivalent displacement
SV = swept volume
so
ED= 1146cc X3 = 3438 cc which places you in engine class E 3001cc to 4260cc

I think you will find the rulebook says :- ED = SV x 2 "not 3"
