Clutchless overidding transmission
I have motorcycle clutchless transmission, which i used while drag racing, has anyone had trouble using this style off trans on the salt, i see rod hadfield ran and broke a jerico, but wasn't sure if it was a Dragracing clutchless type, not sure weather there will be enough traction to keep enought load on the trans to keep it in gear i'm asking because my only other choice is to put a stock trans back into the old girl....
Don't Worry, It only seems Kinky the first time..

Dave ,Craig Hartman ran an auto transmission on his drag bike in 95 without any problems ( that I know of ) I dont know if this is the same as yours or similar?
As for traction ,using a dry tarmac road, it has a CoF =1 a drag track would be >1 rock hard dry salt = 0.6 and wet salt <0.4 ,I calculated that when on the bottle my wheel spin was around 17% ,based on what my gearing should have been pulling and what my actual speed was
