AS a person a tad familiar with the 400kmh jet bike now residing in Melbourne I can tell you the jet powered scooter wont work unless the rider wants to turn himself into a spinning fireball on take off.

Here's my homemade gas turbine powered bike. Just a bit too much fueling at startup! :D

Yep, thats the one. Cool innit. On the night of my 70th birthday three weeks ago the owner of the bike agreed to demonstrate the bike. We added a TZ750 and my Triumph 650 . My aged mates and family friends were suitably impressed. A great night was had by all. Cheers Spook.

Hey Spook If I didn't respect your judgement and integrity I'd say you were pulling our , er , legs when you said you were 70

congrat's on the landmark you're lookin' good fella.

Congrats on the birthday Spook!!

I just got my RZ 350 back from the engine builder and we spent the day talking about the TZ750's he built for Will Hartog - what a sound !!
I would not mind if I had one in my shed.

Thanks for the congrats GH. The tz 750 is one mean machine. It was demoed on the night for its monsterous wheelstanding ability and excelleration unlike the Triumph and the Jetbike that were there for the sound and the fury. BTW have you got the white leathers yet? Cheers Spook.

Spook, No white leathers (they would show to many brown stains!!) I am looking forward to the next test day to give the 350 a run. Power cuts in at 6500 and gear change at 11,500. Should be a lot of fun - if it doesnt sieze.

Crikey, run in already to eleven five. your a brave man. BTW a guy rolled up today with a home built jet bike built here in melb. It is set transversely in a cb750 frame. I hope to get some fotos tomorow. Its a budget bike, but still a valiant effort. Cheers Spook.
