Just some of the things I can remember from today's meeting.

President's Report - Rob went through a bit of correspondence in; some suggestions which were considered but did not result in any motions being put forward. Run down on the working bee at Christmas, the Dodge now has brakes. Rod had driven down in the new DLRA truck, sourced by Norm Bradshaw. It looks like we got and real good deal (thanks Norm) and the truck is now fully serviced and fitted out for it's new role. Rob took it over to the Lake at Christmas time loaded with the mats and other supplies and it performed very well. We have our temporary permit for SPEED WEEK from the Aboriginals thanks to Doc and his resourcefulness. No news on whe we will get a longer term contract worked out. Several committee members will be going to the lake on the 20th Feb for a pre-race inspection (So watch for an announcement about that time). Another member who now lives in the area will be visiting the track each Wednesday. So we will be we and truly better informed this year. (Thanks Plucka)
Rod has arranged for the Newton's to scrape the track on the Thursday after the surveyors do their stuff on the Wednesday.

Secretary and Treasurer's Reports - Carol ran though the expenses since the last meting. There are already about 100 entries and about 58 vehicles. New club polo shirts now available.
I think Gary Baker put forward a motion for the AGM to introduce annual membership fee of say $25. Some discussion at the meeting and a couple of alternatives suggested. But this will be put forward and voted on at the AGM at the salt. Raffle raised about $180.

Steward's Report - Brian wanted to remind competitors that had items to be fixed in their log book from 2009 to make sure they are fixed before presenting for this year

Starters Report - Cled is looking for someone to step into Don's shoes as Starter for the second track. He's keen to talk to anyone who has nominated to work on the start line so that they are sure what will be required of them. Cled gave a run down of the track layout and how it should work.

Task Register - Greg reported that the task register has worked well, however there are still many vacancies. It was reported that some people were having problems using the submit form. If any one has had problems using these pages could they please let me know. I had a number of people come up to me after the meeting saying they will be there but could not commit to a time yet. Very pleased with the way this has been received and the responses or members and even non-members who are volunteering.

I'm sure there was more and others are free to contribute.
