TECH INSPECTION DAY - S.A. MEMBERS

Post by Cookey »

We are looking to have a vehicle inspection day on Sunday January 24th at Willaston (Gawler) to check over any cars or bikes planning to run in March.

This should enable any faults or problems to be sorted out prior to going up to the lake.
There will be members of the race committee present as well as some experienced racers to help with any issues that you may have with your vehicles.

Please P.M. me for further information or phone Peter Noy on 0427777661 or myself on 0417468552 if you intend to bring your vehicle along.

Sorry about such short notice on this one
Cheers,

You saved me sending you a PM Mick as I thought you may be interested.
No problem with regards unfinished projects.
We had planned for this type of get together to be back in November but just didn't get around to it

I will PM you details of the address and kick off time tonight.
Cheers,

Hi Rod,
It doesn't look like we will be very busy with only 1 car confirmed plus a couple of bikes at present.

Thats a bugger!
I'll stay tuned (I didn't really feel like the drive to Melbourne anyway  )
So unless things change........I spose I'll just go to work

I figure I'll be on a learning curve at the lake anyway this year but it sounds like Mike will also pitch in too ! (he'll have to, as he's travelling with me this year  )

I'll just see you on the lake then! (We'll be there Firday arvo)

Will be coming tomorrow, but will only have half a car as it is mostly stripped down. :D

There's not much too see, but I will bring it anyway.

S.A. Tech Day

Post by Cookey »

Just arrived home from our technical get together.

Many thanks for Des Jewis and the Rhemac Motors team for making their workshop facilities available.
My apologies for the cock up with the street number but everyone found us eventually.
A few bikes and a couple of cars under construction were brought along for a look over and quite a few members fronted as well.
A thank you to Dirty Dave Hinds for taking time off work to come and look at the bikes and to Bob Ellis for taking a couple of phone queries re safety related matters.

Based on today's response we plan to make this an annual event and hopefully with more organization we will have all information and paperwork available to carry out some pre-scrutineering of race vehicles in order to save some time up at the lake.

Tech Inspection

Post by fredeuce »

Thanks to Cookey, Pete and also Des Jewis for making the tech inspection happen today. It was good to have someone else's eyes have a look at what I have been doing over the last few years on my midget. Thanks to all for the sausage sizzle lunch. Hit the spot nicely except that I had to wash it down with Coke instead of Coopers!

I forgot the camera so this pic will have to do!
