No not all, the people involved in the testing would still be travelling home as I type this, so I am sure there will be full updates within the next couple of days.

That's great news. I never mentioned it in the past but now that it seems that we can bury the old system it might be time to recognize that a few people copped it when it failed to clock them, Norm H being one of them.... Nothing like doing a motor on a great speed to find that no-one noticed...

Big thanks to everyone who busted their b alls( Pete, Stan ,Cookey and all the others) keeping the old telegraph working and also to the knitting auxillary for sorting out the debacle in 2006 when the wires got tangled.

Yes,
Timing gear worked admirably over a much larger test distance than what it is required to work over :D
A power of work was done around the camp in the form of clean up and repairs to plumbing and electrical issues, still a couple of minor jobs to do :)
Thanks to those who attended and helped in anyway, was very much appreciated, and as has been seen is not ALL work and no play.
Glad we escaped from the camp on Thursday, as the day after I got home (Whyalla) was 43degrees which would not be wonderful up there :!:
Well Happy New year to ALL and see you in March, or those attending the Gawler Tech inspection day on the 23rd Jan at Remack Motors.

'Onya Treva,

Pleased to hear that we are on the right track with the Tag Heuer timing gear :D :D :D

Wonder who first looked at it and was bagged by the then committee :?: :?: :?: :P :P :P

The complimentary Tag Heuer watch offered with the deal would have been of no use to me as "time is always on my side" so to speak and I would have most likely given it to the "Old Timer"
