Rhythm Section

Post by Dr Goggles » Tue Nov 09, 2010 7:53 am

Hi peeps, I'm hoping to find a drummer and bass player who are going to be at the lake next year.Without putting too fine a point on it they'll need to be professional standard.A drummer who's good with a small kit or just a snare and a bass player who can lug( yeah ok, that means play by ear)...........Country/blues background.

First dibs goes to a member who is entered to run.....

Hoping to play a little rockabilly gig at the canteen or at sunset on the lake next year.......

I was going to leave this as a trick question to sort the sheep from the goats but I'll say it now....no, you don't get paid.( it's an in joke for musos)
...few understand what I'm trying to do , but they vastly outnumber those who understand why..

And a string quartet to play some lovely Bach or Vivaldi baroque , while the sun sinks slowly in the west , as the ladies and gentlemen sip on their wine and nibble cheese on crackers .

hello GAZZAS LANDY , wot me a worry , am very similar to you . I am also a Titter and Furner , finished apprenticship in 1972 . I also like Pink Floyd , you ought to listen to the album "The London Philharmonic Orchestra plays the music of Pink Floyd " , the best of both worlds .
