Well, I'm back after a busy few days up at the Camp. Salt is all good 
Thanks to Mr Carroll, Pete Warren and Dean Adamson the injector pump is back in the genset and it's running sweet (What does it say on that brass tag? , you had to be there!)
Several little electrical issues were sorted by Andrew, Real Stan got his "safari roof" on his humpy, Oldtimer rearranged his living accomodation, a general check over of equipment, Plucka and crew will be creating another "cone" trailer to help expedite deployment and retreival of track marking gear and we even had time for a couple of cleansing ales.
All is looking good for next year and there will be a visit approx 2 weeks before the event just to make a final check.

just a thought
did anyone take a "core" sample out on the lake ?
with the amount of water we saw on the lake last year i have wondered weather it settles under the salt --- like we saw a few years ago , ------- dont mean to put the mockers on things --- just been wondering
we all start getting jumpy about now
the lake looked soooooooo good on the Thursday before we were due to play last year .
alcohol helped a little at the time

There was no point us doing any tests while we were there because speedweek is two & a half months away & as we all know anything can happen between now & then. (As it happens, anything can happen between Thursday & Saturday too !) I will be doing an inspection just prior to speedweek, & hopefully it will be as good as it is now. As Trev said, a lot was achieved by a few this week, & a good time was had. Thanks to those that made the trip. Pete. DLRA #6.
