ICE for 2006
Hi All!,
It would appear some of our far flung friends have a requirement for large quantities of "ICE" (hard water not the drug) at our next meet.
GOOD news , I have been able to get TREND ICE from Pt Pirie to attend our March 2006 meeting with no less than a 10,000kg truck of bagged ice, and more if we want it .
The ice will be on sale on the lake during the day and at the CAMP at night for approx AU$5-6 per 10kg bag (22lb bag for our over seas friends) This ice is food grade and is suitable for drinks!
This is coming at a small cost to the DLRA so support the "ICE" man and he will return to our other meetings if required.
We're getting pretty flash now, electric light, running water, wireless, crappers and now ICE.
Cheers,
Trevor

Re Mobile phones at Lake G
Hi Dirty Dave,
And anybody else for that matter. Mobile phones of any description DO NOT work at the Lake. Satellite phones will work if you feel the need. Communications can happen from the Lake area if absolutely necessary though!
Cheers,

PS good idea to bring UHF CB radio if you have one to hear speeds, times etc as we use UHF CB Ch8 for general comms around the lake area and camp area.
