M/VG 650 record

Post by Mossy »

Just a query about this record. According to the records list this is held by Chris Fraser on a 1972 Yamaha.
Should the class read M/G 650 or is the wrong bike listed?

I often ponder when a DLRA committee person will respond to this thread.
You can't rush into these things you know.. :D :D

I've just sent Chris Fraser an email asking him to confirm bike and class he ran that year.

No need to answer this as the record is now held by a pre 1956 bike :D :D :D .
However, I think you will find Chris is the rightful owner of the `M/G 650' record.

I think the DLRA should start handing out records to riders who didn't compete in a particular class rather than focusing on those who did.
There's a General Meeting coming up soon in Melbourne and I'm going to add an agenda item titled.."how do I claim a record in a class I wasn't entered in?" :D :D :D :D :D
