shut-off within the driver's reach. Electric fuel pumps shall
have a switch in the crcuit to disable the pump operation. All
electric fuel pumps shall have an inertial or other positive
"shut off switch" e.g. microprocessor controlled , or
oil pressure switch.
This rule also applies to motorcycle streamliners 7.H.8.
I dont have a complete grasp of the rule ,
This is what I'm reading into it ..... In the case of an event (engine failure or crash ) fuel will no longer be required and will need to be shut down without driver /rider input ,thus being controlled by a" microprocessor "
2 cents anybody
