For those needing a Snell 2010 helmet for their $250 heads... I don't want to seem UN-AUSTRALIAN but these are much cheaper than inferior helmets here.....much as I'd like to support Australian businesses I couldn't find any selling helmets

Silly question does this mean we need to up grade our helmets to 2010 or can we still use our current snell rating as we have only used it twice in the past 4 years?    8)

Same here....I just bought a SA2010 Simpson helmet from the USA.
I'd love to support an Australian business, but the price I'd have to pay here for all the gear is over the top for me.

I got the following SFI 3.2/5 rated gear for AUD$1162 inc. shipping to Melbourne:
1 x Bell apex GP suit in silver
1 x pair of Bell gloves
1 x Headsock in white
1 x long sleeved top underwear
1 x long underpants underwear
1 x pair of sock, white
1 x Simpson Bandit helmet SA2010

I'll get the boots over here....too hard to get the correct size over the net.

Norm
It's got to be less than ten years old
So it must have a Snell SA2005 or Snell SA2010 sticker if you are in a car
All helmets have a manufacture date on them and must be less than ten years old
G
They make it
I make it work
