"Nicosiling work done in the States, cheap as, these Aussie bastards are ripping us off " Yep and doing an average job. Last set i sent to England to be recoated but have left it too late

Looks like the nicasil has been lifted while cleaning up the ex port so not a good sign. Adhesion not as good as its cracked up to be.

If it was below the ring line i would have used it, the guy i bought them from gave me a refund so all OK.

So ive heard good reports from NZ cylinders, 1 week turn around. Will go look for some barrels today and get them posted off.

Thanx

It's now out of date and we don't want people using it.

We do have hard copies of the 2011 SCTA rulebook, which is much closer to the mark.
I think these are available from the DLRA, $10 each, give Carol a call.
Thanks,

Ive already purchased two copies.

Now to find money, time, and pick what car we want to run.... The easy bits

I'm ready, though I plan to do more work. Next week - scoot is back from 3D scanner crowd and the new shed arrives (slab already down) - so I can get stuck into last minute upgrades both at home in the new workshop and at work on the computer :)

UM what rule book do we use as I was on the understanding that the 2011 SCTA rule book wastnt going to be used by the DLRA until 2012 . I thought the existing DLRA rule book was what we were using .

Motors on the engine stand, Bored and sleeved the block last weekend [no 5 did not clean up] cranks in, dummy assembly under way. Should have all the bits. Tunnel ram's off being polished, fuel rails are being made, have got helmet and boots. Big question is, is the Salt going to be ready alleged 6 inches of water in the lake. Hope they are wrong. But we will be there. TPVM.

G'Day Don,
we know we are changing and the 2010 SCTA book is closer to what guys building a vehicle now will be aiming for, more so than the old DLRA book, so that's why we are advising to use it where they can. Obviously there are a lot of existing vehicles that have been built to the old DLRA book and this will be their last chance to run under it. They will have to make changes to run in 2012. Most of these are safety related.
Keep the shiney side up........
