don noble spotted this indian on the N Z eqivalent of our trading post . a v twin he thinks about 650 cc and being vintage and sidevalve drops a couple of classes .

Cookey, there aren't any details of the bike's listing in the"trade me"site, just a pic of the back wheel, the seller will only give the details to "serious" buyers ?

I was aware that there was little detail of this bike . myself and don had discussed it during a phone call and as his computer is on the blink i put it up for the indian pureists to investigate . but as an aside there are some wicked classic bikes for sale . try the "factory " AJS GP bike . A two stroke .

Interesting bike but they wont get many takers until they put a ball park figure on it does not even have a drive chain

The old Indian veetwin is a 500cc donk.Being a sidewacker it is dropped down in class to 350cc class. One would want to see all the engine,gearbox and frontend components before making a bid.

Years ago I was looking at houses, an agent muttered as we walked up to one place ........ "he's a f***in NGV"...

Non Genuine Vendor , they keep something on the market hoping to find someone who'll pay the price they've dreamed up, which has no relation to market value which is what someone who knows what it is worthwill pay for it....

Same reason car clubs aren't the best place to buy car parts :wink:
...few understand what I'm trying to do , but they vastly outnumber those who understand why..
