Just got back to Brissie and our plan was to leave Thursday early. Tennant creek did't have any further rain up till when I left Tuesday at 3.00pm. Roads should be all sweet from the Territory if no further rain up there.
We have had several team delays so still plan to make it for Sunday at the latest.

We're putting the car together today, we leave first thing in the morning. We have the motor we wanted, now I just hope everything goes smoothly. See you all there.

Latest update from the DLRA Camp at Lake Gairdner from Cled and Peter Noy
The Native Title inspection will now take place on Saturday, the lake remains closed until this inspection.
There was 15mm of rain yesterday, none on the lake, just enough to settle the bulldust
Everyone at the camp is still busy preparing for a race meeting.
At this stage we are really only a day behind, if everyone pulls together on Sunday we could still be racing on Monday.
Peter was saying the track surface is in excellent condition.
At the ramp the salt right at the edge has been washed away exposing a silty surface underneath with rocks he has never seen before.
The usual soft area 50 metres off the edge remains as in previous years.
The road from Iron Knob to Lake Gairdner is in very good condition, so the recent closures has done their job in protecting the surface.
I'll probably get to do another update tomorrow from Port Augusta, but for those on the road don't forget the DLRA Info LIne 0435 213 785

Currently sitting in Adelaide.....
Had to take a detor.. Ended up taking different truck ,just enough room for the "DOG" to find somewhere to stow away
Just dropped him of at my unsuspecting brothers place and we will be at the lake this afternoon
See ya's there.....
