Probably? - yes. Truthfully - no (I'd be guessing) but I recon it's probably originally from Woomera, where else do you get stuff like that from?

It's actually sitting out the back of the aero museum - I'm guessing to be part of some future display, or maybe it just sits there because they don't know what to do with it?

Maybe they would like to 'sponsor' an LSR streamliner :D

Sounds to me like that is where it came from with all the information you have. Sure would be a good project for an LSR vehicle.

Your right about that Chriss..
Looks like the 1st stage of a NIKE LIM-49 SPARTAN solid fuel rocket..
Strange thing is .. Australia was using the NIKE sandhawk & tomahawk sounding rockets for astrological research...
MY GUESS : Little Jonny stuffed up in the order department and the wrong bits got sent... The "YANKY DOODLES" have a no return policy on rocket parts and it has been sitting there ever since..

Wouldn't mind getting my hands on it.... 8)
IT IS ALL A RACE AGAINST TIME.
TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE.

HOW FAST CAN YOU GO ?
