Jeez Greg, whaddaya got ,three heads?
In all seriousness I dips me lid to you, that's some achievement.
I like the idea of an oxide reddish/orange hat to match the soil......or big red kangaroo colored
and no Colonel, not with balls hanging off the back.........

...few understand what I'm trying to do , but they vastly outnumber those who understand why..
Re: 200 MPH Achievers
The baggy green has only significance to us Aussies, most other countries wouldnt know, especially non cricket playing ones ,, im leaning towards a reddish, orongish, yellowish colour ,,,,
There are many LSR competitors who are making an attempt to be members of "all" 200mph clubs,, to have them different coloured caps linded up across their mantlepiece ,,,
actually, Orange is a recognizable, stand out colour,,,,,

Re: 200 MPH Achievers
I thought we were going to have both, and the discussion was whether we start a "200mph achievers" club as well?DLRA wrote:G'Day Don, the red hat is being taken care of and was one of the reasons why we are working through this now. It looks like we will get a consensus that I can then take to the AGM to change the rule, I would expect this to be retrospective, so all those on the 200MPH Club page would qualify.Don Hudson wrote:I think the "must be record" is designed to add some exclusivity to classes where the speeds regularly go over 200mph, plenty of classes in the US need 250+ to get a red hat (actually, can we get a hat?)
Though honestly I'm biased as a member of our 200mph club. (maybe I'll buy a hat and a texta )
The 150MPH club was something that I just put up on the web site back when 150 was something special, these days it seems to have lost it's relevance a bit, so will probably just drop this.
I'm pretty sure there will be one blue hat made as well..

I think the NAC200 club should have special limited edition monogrammed Underpants. It seems only fitting Animal

Re: 200 MPH Achievers
"And must exceed the minimum" is because alot of classes have a minimum set at over 200 so your record--2 runs-- must be over 200MPH and the Minimum to get that red hat. When we ran the 750 and got ours I was running on a 192MPH record and the minimum was 210! First 2 passes netted 209!
Need me one of those DLRA 200 club hats for my collection!
