Lake Gairdner condition

Post by PLUCKA »

Well we are getting close now and its about this time that I start reporting on the condition of the lake. A couple of days after Christmas saw a few of our club members migrate to lake G for various jobs, one of those of course was to see how she is fairing. That first glimps as you get close to the tank and wind mill is generally a great indicator, whether its taken on a grey shaded colour or stark white. Well it was certainly bright and I am happy to report that its condition as of today is the same. I intend to make regular trips from here on in and yes Ill paste some photos, if I can remember how. As for the long range forcast here there does not appear to be much coming from the west. Well heres hoping :D

I will be going up to the lake along with Smurf & Cookey to make a final inspection on March 3rd. Here's hoping for a positive outcome! Pete DLRA #6.

Well let hope that mother nature is kind to us after the 3 March. Like last year, 2 days before the meet the sky opened up.
