Re: BUB 2013
quick update tonight, as its 11:30pm and ive just got back to Motel 6 after a drive to Utah University Hospital in SLC to check up on Lucky,, on his first run as he approched the timed mile on the short course the Jawa apparently got into a humumgeous death wobble and spat him off, he was knocked out for approx 15 mins,, thay transported him by ambulance to SLC,,,, he is ok although extremily sore and a little incoeherant,, keeping him in for the night to keep an eye on him, then make the call as to when he will be released,,,
First Australian to ride a motorcycle over 200mph at Bonneville,,,
Re: BUB 2013
From Kim Krebs on Facebook
Jim, Greg and I all made it through tech inspection at Bonneville today at BUBs Speed Trials. Although tech inspection was not what we had expected for Greg and Jim, due to a change in rule interpretation and no longer being eligible for their long standing classes, we are still really happy about being at Bonneville and about the see what we can do on our bikes.
Tech issues's aside, Jim ran twice today (187mh then 192mph). Tomorrow we will all be at the start line for racing to start our USA 2013 land racing season.
Another Australian, Queenslander Ronnie Stayt, reclaimed his FIM record (M-F) and another down under adventurer, Lucky Keiser wasn't so fortunate, and is spending the night in Salt Lake City to recover.
Tomorrow will bring another adventure.

Re: BUB 2013
its Tuesday night here,,, went back in to SLC and picked Lucky up today, hes ok, has torn ligements in his right shoulder and is very sore all over,, ,
Shane Gaghan added some ballast to his turboed Suzuki 750 M/BG and bumbed his AMA record from 161 to 168, ,
Terry and Bones made one pass on the Vincent, only running on one cylinder went 121,, fuel pump problems, thay are working on it, ,
Greg went out on a shakedown pass, went 196, on 7psi boost, will start to lean on it tomorrow, ,
Kim on a shakedown went 190, also will turn the wick up tomorrow, ,
Steve Kell had a problem with the turboed zx14 not running very well at all, has found a vacume line that had come adrif, ,
A fella from the Sunshine Coast named Lucas rocked up on a turboed Hayabusa that he purchased in San Diago and rode it up to Bonneville, will have a run tomorrow, ,
Fireman Jim went 187, 193, 193,, has added ballest, ,
I went out yesterday on a shakedown pass, went 190, figered that was good enough to turn around and do a return,, however i had to wait about an hour and a half as a Triumph streamliner had a fire on board,, during the wait a 14mph headwind came up, so i only managed 184 return, good enough to reclaim the FIM naked record at 187, gear change in morning and will go searching for a 2, ,
