New Sponsor - Penrite

Post by DLRA »

The DLRA would like to proudly announce it is now a member of the Penrite Partnership program and will be receiving support from Penrite Oils to conduct our annual Speed Week at Lake Gairdner.
We ask you to support those that support dry lakes racing, and when you are next looking to buy automotive oils or additives to consider Penrite Oils.

Hey Pete
I've never seen the Penrite based caster before-- have you tried it?
Is it similar to Castrol 747?

Hey Bones

I was looking around for Castor Based oils to run it in the "new" higher RPM Engine and found this, it is the Penrite version of 747.

I have always loved and used Penrite product where I can, not just because of the quality of the product, but because the product is 100% part of the Australian landscape. I'm really happy about this relationship.

I also have used Penrite for donkeys years in everything from the Harleys (HPR 50), to the postie bikes (HPR 30)and the 250 (HPR 5),
If tried real hard to contaminate the last 2 with methanol. but is just holds the meth in suspension which still hasn't separated after 3 months of sitting in a clear soft drink bottle & although I change the oil after 5 miles or so of test runs, I'm not too worried about damaging the engine internals, even when running so rich that after filling the engine with 2 ltrs, and draining 2.3 ltrs out an hour later
I don't use Penrite in my common door though, I recon it's like feeding strawberrys to pigs.
