Sorry guys for not replying, haven't had a chance to get on the forum.
Since the last update alot has been happening.
To finish machining the billet cylinder heads, we first of all have to machine another jig for the cylinders to clamp too, to be able to do the side machining and intake and exhaust ports.

After the cylinders were finished and sent of to the machine shop to have the cam tunnels bored and honed to size, guides and inserts installed and final machining, it was time to step up the gearbox and driveline.
The original plan was to remove rear cover, cnc machine up an adaptor for the gear vendor to be installed.
After removing the rear housing from the gearbox, we noticed a small amount of material on the magnets.
After close inspection we found a chipped tooth on 5th and 6th gear. The decision was to dismantle the entire box for full inspection.
On inspection we noticed 1st gear main had been starving for lubrication.
After several phone calls back and forward to the manufactor the diagnosis was the gear had incorrect clearance to the bearing face.
A new gear was supplied with a more oil porting and a altered side preload.

Whilst we had the gearbox completly stripped down for the repair, several phone calls to the US, just confirmed our thoughts, how strong is the factory gearbox castings, we knew the internals are strong but feared breaking a housing.
