Green is never as fast as RED---- I proved it
I've been thinking about putting my TZ250 A into my Universal Chassis
Pete-- You keep making improvements on the aero but a lower frame I think would be a huge improvement
cheers Bones

Re: APS/G 250
I agree Bones ......
If I could of done that I would have ..... up until now I've had to work with what I had, a lot of enthusiasm, an RGV and limited skills ....
so it's all learn as I go with this stuff .... The A Class experiment was part of that and it taught me a lot, and is done now .....
This new Tail is to revisit the M/G Class build that I planned to run in 2011 ....
I would just like a year when I could run some full power passes .......
Pete

Re: APS/G 250
I am finally getting around to posting stuff about the "other" Rear Engine Bike that was at Speedweek this year, mine ...... It's been 4 years in the Making ...... not sure who took the Pics thanks I did not get any myself ....
I was posting some build stuff on Face Book awhile ago but no longer do much Face Book stuff for a many reasons I won't bore you with .....
But I did not make too much of a song and dance about my Project in case it did not get finished .....
Well I did finish it and despite a dumb Fuel Flow issue (related to the internals of the Fuel Valve I used ) that stopped the Bike running on 2 cylinders, I am pleased to report it worked much better than I could of hoped. It ran a straight as an arrow, reaching 92mph at half throttle on one cylinder ..... I was really surprised at the speed as it felt more like 70 - 80 mph I did on the Track 2 check out pass .....
I had a chat with Richard Assen about his Bike and what he said about riding his is exactly what I found on my version ..... The faster I went the more stable it was ....
While the speed I reached was not very fast, it still felt so very different/better than the RGV Chassis I have used until now ......
After taking the Bike apart the Chassis it checks out fine ...... I have fixed the Fuel issue .... So I will reassemble it and have another crack next year ...
A big thanks to Ross Brown for his sharing his time, knowledge and advice during the Concept/Design phase and for allowing me to copy his Speedway Sidecar Leading Link Forks that adorn the front of the Bike .....
and to Graham Hadley for his feedback on the Pre Speedweek Construction Info I sent him ......
Also
Wayne at Bike Tow Brisbane for his ongoing support since the start and the Aprilia RS250 Engine he donated ......
Pro Cycle Dyno Springwood Qld
Lee's Motorcycles Mt Pleasant SA
Impact Signs Pt Lincoln SA
Cummins Bearings and Engineering SA
and all my Friends before, during and after Speedweek
So onward and upward ......

Re: APS/G 250
Thanks everyone ......
Ron, I won't have any Body work for a while ( $ are non existent )...... and I want to see how fast it goes with no Aero ......
That way I have a Baseline Speed and when the Bodywork is fitted I can see what difference it actually makes ......
Yes Tiny, let's hope we both get to use up all the Fuel we take with us next year ....
