Morning All, thanks for opening the door when I knocked :o .
Been interested in the SALT for a while and even made it over to Bonneville in 09 for a look at Norm's attach at the 200mph club. and now finally have a spare project that I think will lend itself to some salt time.

Ive down loaded to rule book, seems a sensible place to start and will see if my little project can fit in somewhere.

So, starting out with a 1980 Ford Courier pick up
Spare built 289 Windsor (old school build that made good power for what it was)
Built roller c4 3 speed auto
4 link 9 inch

So, basically all the wrong stuff but have to start somewhere and evolve.
looking forward to the next adventure, any pointers or info on mistakes commonly made by newbies greatly appriciated.

Regards Cranky

Welcome aboard. That combination will work fine and put you squarely in D/MMP. Thats D engine size, modified mid mini Pickup.
Fire away with questions as they come to you.
