Thanks Greg :D

Advice to those considering entering FIM, start the ball rolling now as obtaining your FIM credentials can sometimes be a long drawn out process (re Medical if your over 50),, also take note that entries close at the beginning of January, so get ya ducks lined up "Before" Christmas,, 8)

I was talking with Motorcycling Australia today thay informed me that the Cardio-Vascular section (which usually takes three visits over a couple of months) of the medical for obtaining a FIM Licence is good for three years, so if you got a licence for the 2017 event, that section (medical) is good to go, however one still needs to complete the "in the doctors surgery" section,,

"FIM Helmet Requirement"

I would not like to see anyone go thru the hops and hurdles off entering for the FIM 2020 event, only to get knocked back at scrutineering for not having the correct helmet,,

As of 2020 FIM will only allow in competition helmets with the #FRHPhe-01 lable attached. (2019 FIM Land Speed World Records Regulations #2.14.7)

Have done a search and confirmed FIM Racing Homologation on the following :- Bell #Pro Star Ece,,
HJC #RPHA 01R,,
Kabuto #RT-33,,
Shark #Race-R Pro GP,,
AGV and Shoei are yet to receive FIM homologation,,
