graham was at lake last weekend wet footsteps where ever you walked area looks pristeen is very dry whirly winds every where lake is still WET must be really wet underneath im hoping i dont have to sell the bike and do something else. nev
no old timer being negative is not an option lifes too short to sit around and wait for something that may not happen. time to go on with other things. i hope it does dry out and things go full speed ahead what will you do if its canned again? nev
Lets be the optimist instead of the pessimist and say we will be racing in Mar 09 then wev'e all got a goal to aim for then instead of moping around being negative.
If we are not the optimist maybe we should take our vehicles, modify them and persue other avenues of racing
The Lake will be checked on the second weekend ( or there abouts) in Feb and then we will all know what's going to happen. Worrying about water on the Lake now is a waste of good energy which could be utilised more positively by vehicle building /improvement our drinking more beer!
Cheers,
Trevor
There is nothing else to worry about at the moment, things have been progressing behind the scenes for some time now, we are awaiting a reply from Aboriginal Affairs, ( hopefully in the next couple of weeks ), then we get insurance settled & its up to the weather from there on. Pete. DLRA #6

If only our wallets would do the same.....
Thanks Stan & Bob, we dont need negative posts that scare the crap out of people, things are progressing as well as they can be, & i believe we can overcome the beer problem, we have survived in the past . Pete. DLRA #6
