There is a meeting at Lake Gairdner next week between Government agency officials and the Indigenous representatives. The DLRA may be asked to attend by have not received an invitation yet.

The darkest hour is just before the dawn......

Has the proposed meeting happened?

A good read. At either Eyre or Gairdner it would be brilliant to see.

Looks like "Seth Efrica" is to be the site of this LSR attempt. Shame they aren't coming to SA and Lake Gairdner. :(

I think the logistics with regards to getting to Lake Gairdner put us behind the 8 ball plus the amount of good salt for the 1000MPH speed may be questionable as once we go beyond our current long course top end the surface deteriates somewhat.

Also the "Seth Efrican" goverment look like they will be kicking in to the project as well :!: :!:
Fat lot of hope we would have with our pollies being more concerned with condemning high speed motor sport than supporting us

Not so sure Pete. Media Mike is big on "Bread and Circuses" , oh and Panda bears. Just witness the big hulabaloo about the Adelaide Oval last week. Then of course there was Lance Armstrong too. MM loves to take ownership of this sort of thing.
