Flood Waters

Post by Graeme H »

My geography is not that good - does anyone know if the flood waters at Bourke are likely to end up anywhere near the lake?

Don't think Bourke area drains to Lake Gairdner.
Here's some info on drainage on the main web site...

And for interest, a 49 page PDF document about the lake...

We discussed this a while back, last year or the one before. Short answer is no. Check this diagram from PJQ's link, it outlines the catchment area.
