Race Quad Build

Hi everyone. New member to the forum and will be a payed up member shortly.
I hope to be running in the MPS G 1000 next year if everything goes to plan and of course if its another dry year.
My question today is has anyone seen or heard of a quad bike competing in land speed record attempts?
I have an idea for another build but not sure if there is even z class for such a bike.
It would be based on a Honda TRX 450R race quad but with a 2 stroke engine shoe horned into it. They drag race them in the states, this is where the seed was sown.
