Re: Lake condition as at Dec.27th
Gday to all those who managed to make the trip to the Lake, & those who were on their way.
Nathan & I made it to 60kms west of Nyngan when our proposed week of fun turned to sh-t.
See ya all next year.
Craig.
P.S. We need bitumen under our tires, just like the V 8's in Adelaide.

Re: Lake condition as at Dec.27th
I was out of bed at 3am finishing my late packing. Nathan rolled up 4am loaded to the gunnels, with the gear that took several hours to organise & load yesterday. Looked for catch up news from those who know things, & have decided to leave heading off for 24hrs, to hopefully get a better pic...

Re: Apoligy to Lynchy
Opps, it's at this time I would like to sincerly apoligise to you Paul, (or anyone out there in the local area) for my ill chosen, badly thought out comments. I should have asked the question, & left the rest out. Now I'll go off to the shade of my tree, take my foot out of my mouth, & wash ...

Re: 13th Feb Pre speed week BBQ
Hey Lynchy if you went to the Vic meet, where's the update? Or are we being kept like mushrooms. An update from us who turned up, to those who didn't. It was decided by us to organise a better communication system, & a reminder service. Perhaps someone uses the phone, instead of the forum or pri...

Re: QLD Floods
G'day to all who belong to the DLRA family, & all the best for the rest of 2011 It couldn't get any worse --- Could it? Thanks Chris for thinking of us all & enquiring into our circumstances, regarding the floods. We were certainly thinking of you all , as to how you all came through. My wif...

Ross It's the quiet ones we all gotta watch out for. Awsome build in progress. Love following your write ups on the forum. A well written informative article about you too. Can't wait to see the Beast blasting down the great white dyno & possibly sharing a beer with you afterwards, celebrating t...

Re: prepairing a bike for the salt
Geez Chris It's guys like you , that confirm, you know your shit. And so you, as a builder of race engines, would. We mostly all call it coolent, because that's how it's sold, & like all good sheep, we follow in the belief it is. But you are right, it is largely antifreeze, something we, west of...

In the good ol days my Kiwi mate was a weed expert too. He had them growing in pots, sitting on the window ledge in a sunny spot.
It appears those Kiwis know their weed.
Cheers to ye all.

Re: DLRA News Issue 37
Do you really think that we would be able to run over any of them plants? I'm betting not. I can hear their loud screams of protest already. Imagine how many plants would be injured by a pair of skidding wheels of a Dry Lake Racer thundering over the top of them. In saying that, I'm normal...

Re: 2011 Speed Week logo
Lynchy, I reckon we'll pay a trillion $'s for our water, to pay back a few million for the pipes that take it'...nowhere. If you want some free, unrestricted water, you'll have to take the car to Wivenhoe & bucket the water out of the dam. P.S. I hope that's 'green' detergent yo...

Re: 2011 Speed Week logo
Kia Ora Don, Good to see you reconise the All Blacks, as the 'Mighty' N.Z. rugby team. I did wonder if the cuzzie bro's would convert you. By the way they couldn't wear white as the N.Z. soccer team, the All Whites, do. More news for you is the S.E.Qld dams have reached 100% capacity, & they are...

Re: 2011 Speed Week logo
Lynchy People love to purchase & wear their shirts, hats, etc; on the day (or week) of the occasion. It gives them a since of belonging to the event. I don't see them as Noobs, but proud supporters of that event. If they didn't feel this way I reckon our sales wouldn't be as big, & perhaps l...

Lynchy
The trouble is that many an old modeled, big gutted, beer guzzling, hot rodder, love to wear black.
Unlike a few of us more refined types, who may prefer to wear a nice designed white shirt with a collar attached.
Then we could go steppin out with Staytie.

G'day Dave
All I can say is, that bride has no heart.
Maybe Ross has some responsibility for Nats new project?
What you say Ross?
All I know at this moment is that it won't have 3 engines.
