Hey Glen
If you are using Photobucket that could be the problem.
They are trying to charge for the storage.
The guys who are running in the 250 class are going to have to get their acts together
cheers Bones

Classic Motorcycle class
Well It appears that we now have a Classic Motorcycle Class 436 NEW classes But 1200 existing classes without records. I thought Land Speed Racing was about setting NEW records not making classes to suite bikes that are in sheds. The fastest bike on our salt is a 1972 Suzuki built with no money but ...

Re: theTRUTH
Hey Russell With the top pivot for the fork, I think the rod end would like it more if you screwed the shank into the main frame and bolted the ball to the fork. Maybe a plate on top of the ball to make it in double sheer. It could do with some triangulation from the steering head back to the chassi...

Re: APS/G 250
Hey Pete Do you have a picture of you on the bike when you are tucked in? From the photos it looks like your head will be above the steering head and your shoulders too close to the bars to give a good tucked riding position. I think this new chassis is a great start for some good speeds. My worn ou...

Hey Russel
You will have to rethink the starting procedure--
No tow or push starts except for motorcycle streamliners.

Russell "Bones, can't run a Hayabusa, then I'd be in your class and we couldn't be friends." Its ok I am going to 1650 class after Bonneville this year. So we can still be friends. What ever you use for a clutch/flywheel or torque converter will need to be able to carry huge side loads. An...

Re: theTRUTH
Harky I'm watching with great interest. For what it's worth I think you are on the money with a busa engine. As for a FFE I think Russell has it covered with the earls fork with an imaginary lower pivot. Same as the Budfab streamliner. Richard's hub center this year is very good and proved to be ext...

Re: Four Tracks for 2018
Harky I was working the the start on the GPS a few years ago and some guy, on a bike, complained that the bike line was going slowly. Mabe 10 bikes in one line and 3 cars with tender vehicles in the other-- about the same length. He asked why has the car that just went, had gone before him when he wa...

Re: Four Tracks for 2018
David Boy are you trying to make some work for people (volunteers) we don't have. Here's my 2c worth At Speed Week they have 4 tracks, but they have 400 entries. Early in the week lines move slowly but as the week progresses the lines speed up and tracks get closed. I think the biggest thing we can ...

NICE work. I love a bit of machining porn.
Wasn't beryllium aluminium banned from F1? Due to possible health problems when machining it.
Could you do a crank case for a bike
cheers Bones
