The page for the 2004 DLRA Speed Trials is now up with 17 photos on it. The results aren't far away, just waiting for some clarifications between the Timer and the Chief Scruitineer and we will be right. This page will change often over the next week to a month. Record year for number of entrants (7...

I have just posted the first of the photos from the 2004 Speed Trials. Thanks very much to Garry Allen and Frank Groth. I'm workin on the theory that you can never have too many photos. So if you were there and you've got some how about sharing. If you want to post 'em, I'll attempt to do same day t...

First question is, what sort of suspension do the cars run? Is a conventional circuit set-up (low and stiff) and alignment sufficient? (obviously without the negative camber) Or is there a black art to getting it all right? The salt in Oz is a lot smoother than that at Bonneville (or so I'm told) b...

Posting Photos
At this stage the only way to post a picture to the forum is if it already exists online somewhere. Bummer for some I know. That functionality is coming out in the next version of the phpBB software. I can't really complain as it's freeware and it does a pretty good job. It's a security thing, if an...

Automatic Login
There is an tick box option when you first login to automatically login when you return to the Bench Racing Home page. If you delete your Temporary Internet Files or Cache you will loose your automatic login. It seems the most successful way of staying logged in is to not log out. When you have fini...

Suitable Browsers
The Bench Racing Forum uses the php programing language.
It can be successfuly used in most versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera and most other third party browsers.
However it will definately not work in the AOL browser.

DLRA SPEED TIMES Issue 19
I have just sent issue 19 off to the printers (thanks Norm and Vicki). For those that subscribe it is now also available online. I've also tried something new this time, sending out a text only version as an email to members only. I'd be interested in comments about this. Contents Cover - 2003 Speed...

As of 9 am this morning ( Wednesday, Nov 12th) , there is standing water at the west end of the lake from shore to shore. It rained all night and was still raining this morning - with more predicted today and tonight. In as much as the rain last September took over a week to dry up and now that the ...

NZ Results
There were no less than 3 cars / 4 drivers from NZ at Bonneville this year and they did pretty bloody well too. Look for a day by day account from Dave Mead in the next DLRA Newsletter, sure makes interesting reading. http://www.landracing.com/photos/speedweek/081803/images/DSC00038_jpg.jpg Hogan, M...
