Should be able to use a Morris Minor block which came with same stroke as a 998 but slightly smaller bore from memory. They came in at 948cc. Looking at the manual the 948cc block has a bore dia. of 2.478 whereas the 998 is 2.543 . You might be able to stretch one of those older blocks to standard 9...

Don, you are on the right track. Somehow it changed to metric time (which is faster than imperial) & we are in the process of converting it back. Pete, DLRA #6 So does this mean we now go to a 10 day week ? If so , how long are the weekends? And, how will this impact on traditional long weekend...

Tony,
You're not familiar with the life's work of that esteemed scribe and humorist Mr. J Clarke esq. (aka F Dagg) ?

You will soon learn that this post has become very Daggish. Just Google Bruce and Trev Bayliss and all will be revealed.

Doc G , I am not in the habit of playing "tit for tat" but simply prefer to say it like it is. Those captions are such a lame attempt at humour they miss the mark by a country mile. Totally inane. The article comes across as if they have just arrived from Mars and have little understanding...

Just arrived back from the Lake last night. There was 10mm of rain on the lake on the Sat night before speedweek. That delayed proceedings until Tuesday afternoon when the course was opened up for racing. Some additional showers followed that day but licensing passes were run for new competitors. Fu...

Just open the email today.

Greatly saddened by this news Dave was a good friend. Shared many good times with Dave. Most memorable was the trip to the Lake with Dave in 2006. Many other fond memories.

Condolences to the Dooley family.
