Re: BOSS STREAMLINER S/UF 925
Thanks boy's
"Shiny" It will be Grumm .. Cant afford to be waisting money on paint...
As for the rockets Chris .. I do think 2 parachutes is somewhat overkill .. replacing one of them with a solid fuel rocket
has been more than just a passing thought...
The beginings of the air box...
I'm seem down to one picture out of " puss bucket "at a time... try again later..

Im having no problems with Photo Bucket Ross. Copy the image (bottom) line on the PB page and paste in your post. Then remove the bit ive made in Red Im not sure why PB changed the script but doing this changes it back to the old way. I changed the brackets from [ ] to { } so the Pic wouldn't show.

Dave
I'm stuggling with the photo bucket IMG link ..
normally when you click on It .. It flashes yellow and pronounces "copied " all good.
but getting it do that has become an issue..
Photo bucket yoused to work half good.. Now they have improved it to work half as good as that..
ANYWAY: Heres another picture..

Photoucket Blues. I don't like the new PhotB layout but it's what we've got.
The one thing I learnt early was to put the photos into albums with the "Order by" command left just above your Pics on "Newest First".
Then make sure the Organise button (just above the "Order by" command ) is on . This opens the box under each Photo with HTML, HTML Thumb, IMG, IMG Thumb.
Left click on the IMG indent where you can just see "URL= ..." ( for the full image, that is the one I use ) or IMG Thumb ( for a thumbnail ) then right click and copy.
Open your DLRA post a reply right click and paste. and this is what you end up with

Re: BOSS STREAMLINER S/UF 925
The next piece of the puzzel ..
The top and the back plates are milled and welded together, which will leave the filter to slide up through the top
these two holes are for the front wheel cavity pressure relief , which of that the air box will also help service.
The ramp up to the two vent holes will extent throgh the other side and into the roof panel..
The pipe runnung from the side of the air box is one of the intake runners.
PS started a new album in photo bucket .. seems to have sped up the process.
Nice hat Pete ..

Mr Versatility was my name, I found multiple uses for parts of an old truck Diff. Safety was a flexible concept in the 70's
It's looking good Ross, I tracked down those Sheet Metal clamps, very handy.

Um, We had a bit of a problem with Terry's Streamliner, it to was "au naturale" for a few years until it was decided that it couldn't be seen and had to have colour. That was when the red stripes started to appear. And also why it was finally painted matt black (but never ran that year due to rain)ROSS BROWN wrote:"Shiny" It will be Grumm .. Keep the shiney side up........

Re: BOSS STREAMLINER S/UF 925
Greg.. Under normal circumstances, everything around here ends up "matt black"
There is a spray gun sitting on the shelf that is allways loaded with "matt black" (never been cleaned out in years).
But just this once I will try and refrain from using it.. There will be a 12inch wide ,bright blue stripe on the streamliner that
will virtually run the complete length and some pretty large signage on the liner as well.. am hoping this will be enough ,as so it won't go under the radar.. will post pictures along the way.. I think I have it covered but but be sure to speak out if you think I havn't..
The next picture is of the left hand intake runner from the back side..
This picture is of the intake runner semi mounted ,,also added in this picture is the flat bars to mount the side and roof panels
and the lifting/towin hook on the roof...

Mate- you are very welcome any time, will P.M. details. I "live" in the shed usually, but might be away Sunday- Lakeside with Jimmy Richards and the Muscle cars sounds pretty tempting. I really would appreciate input from a fellow builder.

No need Gazza ..
Somebody has already done it for me.. This well thought out little Viller's contraption from the 30's / 40's era needs a wee tidy up
a new tyre ... and a roadworthy from Grumm and it can be out menacing the outside lane of the highways once again..
But in real life ...
The other wheelchair will be getting this 2.5 Litre mutha ship..
