G'day Ross,

You may be better off with one of the systems from Safety Solutions instead of the HANS, the Hybrid or R3 both have less of a protrusion up behind the helmet and should help with the front hoop problem.

Ross,
You are correct, many variables, chaos.

I understand that the makers of the Hans devices have been working on 40° seating positions and also a laydown as yours.
Have you been thinking about the belts? It looks like a good application for the 6 point lower restraints (around legs).

The car looks great, am I seeing 2 motors back there in the picture?

Cheers, John

No Worries Ross,

There is what appears to be another on their site that is belts only but it doesn't apear to be SFI rated.

Thanks John
Missed answering your other question
YES . Have been thinking about the belts......
Have put enough plate work in to run a ten point harness ( trying to stay ahead of the curve) :P
apparently I'm sposed to be running a seven point harness :? the pictures in the rule book don't really show or count of the mount points.
6 Point looks sufficient...........
Work it out when I get to it .
