Re: BMS Bullet V8
Unfortunately the Bullet car will not be at the lake this year however I am very much looking forward to coming down with Arthur DeMain and his electric Corolla.
The 747 Bullet will be there in 2017 after a well deserved rebuild and a set of LSR tyres.

Re: BMS Bullet V8
Just an update.
The 747 Bullet was sold to the Clare boys from Broken Hill. It could not have found a better home.
It was great to see and hear it again on the lake this year.
That said I've been bitten by the bug again and have teamed up with Mick to build another car.
The Bullet bellytank.
It's a huge task much more complex than I first thought.
We decided to build the transport first.
Stage 1 done.

Re: BMS Bullet V8
Hi Tom , I saw you at Leyburn last sunday.
While chatting with Arthur he mentioned his new project , the 200mph bellytank.
Is this the same chassis that you have just mentioned? I haven't spoken further to Arthur yet, hoping I'm not spilling beans.
Am I able to turn up unannounced at your workshop? We are only a lions roar apart...the old lion park is between you and I.
cheers Dennis

Just catching up.
Mic and I decided to build this beautifully engineered F86 Sabre bellytank.
Sharing some images of the build.
We ran in 2021 and got our first two speed limited runs in, 125 and 150mph.
We lined up for the 175 and right on our turn the rain came and the track was closed.
We had planned to run 200mph on the 12A PP normally aspirated engine then upgrade to a supercharged 13b for 2022.
Well we all know what happens to salt racing plans.

can't get the images in
Re: BMS Bullet V8
I attach five images all under 250kb but when I submit them nothing happens
Re: BMS Bullet V8
G'Day Tom, we do not host the images here as it would blow our server space pretty quickly.
You need to host them some where else and then you can link to them.
If you send them to me at drylakesracersau@hotmail.com I can host them on another server and then add them here.
