Plated cylinder arrived today, unbelievable service and turnaround time. Sent 7th Jan, that makes it 3 weeks door to door. Not sure I carry enough fuel to be able to melt it, but I'll have a good go.
Oil pressure to the turbos has been increased and an additional filter stage added (custom full flow magnetic).

1173 David Plecas 1992 Honda CT110 125cc A-BF BLUE (Open Record)
Monday, GPS track 83.3, 89.6mph
Tuesday, Long track 92.774mph
Thursday, Long Track 111.476mph
When I spoke to Dave on Thursday am he told me he'd screwed up the boost a further 10hp.. to put that into context, a CT110 makes 7.6hp in standard form!
Well done Dave and crew (family!)
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Compound Supercharged Turbocharged 125cc
Can't figure out what happened half way through the last run, dropped about 250 RPM for some reason, then starts to pickup again towards the end. The only thing I can see is the engine temperature stops rising as fast at exactly the same time, EGT, Boost, etc, everything else looks great. Initially I thought it was the water pump kicking in and cooling down the head too much, however the Lo Temp is set to 70'C (Sets the engine temp below which the pump will be at minimum speed). Maybe there is something in the motor that doesn't like > 11,000 RPM, power falls, RPM drops, whatever it is cools down and away she goes again (valve springs heating up, or piston beginning to nip? ).

They dont fix themselves ,
keep cross referencing your info, are voltages consistant ? fuel pressure?
or external forces
Did you run into some damp salt that dragged your rpm down , or a head wind ,
or rider input,
lifted your head , or put your knees or elbows out slightly

Re: Compound Supercharged Turbocharged 125cc
I didn't notice this before, but zooming in on the air temperature after the intercoolers clearly shows the same trend in temperature rise slowdown. After reading Gregs comment about headwind, the best theory i have to date is that a gust of cold wind came along and slowed the bike down. The headwind only accounts for the temperature drop if it was somewhat colder. So much to learn in this game.
