Rest in peace Rusty the timing ute! I got to drive him for a few wonderful years. There's nothing like a column shift and floorpan ventilation! My favourite thing in his later years was turning the headlights on by twisting the wires together under the bonnet. That and driving him on the choke.

The doors became a problem at his last event - well, not the doors but the A pillar coming loose from rust. I have one of his badges as a momento in my mancave.

Rusty was a legend!
