The mid year meeting of the DLRA was held at Rod Hadfields property. There were a very pleasing number of members from South Australia, New South Wales and of course quite a few from Victoria. We were very lucky to have Roscoe McGlashan attend the meeting and give a very entertaining talk recalling his early days experimenting with rockets, the jets and his World Land Speed Record attempts at Lake Gairdner. On behalf of all who were there, thanks Roscoe. And special thanks to Rod for making us all welcome and the wives and girlfriends who helped with lunch.
Minutes will follow in the next DLRA newsletter.
