LEVEL 1 - RACE DIRECTOR MODULE
For those officials who seek to officiate and perform the role of Race Director / Event Director, assume a team-leader role.
The Learning Objectives for this module are:
- Identify relevant documentation before, during and after the event
- Apply competitor and officiating requirements at DLRA events
- Identify various roles of the Race Director at DLRA events.
- Demonstrate judicial procedures at DLRA events
- Apply communication techniques appropriate to Race Director role
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of radio etiquette techniques and hand signal techniques for DLRA events and demonstrated ability to apply them
